Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area. Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience,
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience with BS Degree or 12+ years of experience without,
- Ability to obtain a Q Clearance if needed,
- Software knowledge – CMMS, P6, Excel, and Word,
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening,
- Ability to fulfill L&A Core Values,
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Q Clearance,
- PPA Certification,
LOCATION
- Los Alamos, NM – Onsite work,
- Per-diem offered if non-local,
- TA-55 ALDPI Location,
- Duration of the Contract – Initial one year with possibility of extension and/or conversion,
- Work Schedule – 4/10s but night shift possibility going forward,
