Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a motivated Project Controls Analyst III or IV to contribute to our mission supporting our work in Berkeley, California.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Developing a fully integrated resource loaded schedule,
  • Assisting technical management in developing resource requirements to support the project cost estimate,
  • Performing analysis of the project schedule using critical path methodology,
  • Managing changes to the schedule and/or baseline,
  • Interacting with project technical staff to define scope of work, baseline changes variance analysis, and implementation of corrective actions,
  • Generate performance measurement monthly reports for the management team,
  • Performing project earned value data analysis,
  • Present earned value analysis data at project management meetings and internal/external reviews,
  • Support the development and deployment of new techniques and tools.
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors/advanced degree in a related field and at least 8+ years education and/or experience in the planning and control of projects of various sizes. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 8 years of experience in use of Primavera P6 and Deltek Cobra,
  • At least 1 year of experience in a DOE 413.3B earned value environment, 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills,
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team,
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills,
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in environmental management and sustainability practices,
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and continuous improvement,
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment,
  • Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening,
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience on DOE sites and programs,
  • Project Management Professional (PMP/Project Management Institute) or Earned Value Professional certification strongly desired.

LOCATION
This position is fully remote, supporting a project based out of Berkeley, California.
