Longenecker & Associates (L&A) seeks a motivated Agile Project Manager to contribute to our mission supporting our work at a premier national laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The main duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Agile adoption and execution at the team level.
  • Choosing an appropriate Agile at scale framework.
  • Agile adoption and execution for Agile at scale.
  • Agile for software development, hardware development and services domains.
    • Agile team readiness assessments, including gathering metrics to determine a team’s readiness to execute Agile at the team level and gathering metrics to determine a team’s readiness to execute Agile at scale.
    • Agile team execution assessments including gathering metrics to determine how well a team is executing Agile at the team level and gathering metrics to determine how well a team is executing Agile at scale.
    • Agile hardware and software testing including the ability to articulate the need for testing and coach teams in the implementation of testing.
  • The ability to articulate DevOps for software and how the ideas translate to hardware development.
    • Includes the ability to articulate for both software and hardware the concept and need for DevOps and coach teams in the implementation/utilization of DevOps.
  • Working knowledge of the Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools used at NTESS: Jira, Gitlab, Azure DevOps (ADOS).
    • Includes the ability to coach teams to setup and then successfully utilize the tools in their daily work and the ability to learn other ALM tools teams may choose.
  • Coaches shall participate in the APEX Agile Scrum ceremonies so their coaching work can be integrated into the other Agile work being done by APEX. 
  • Have the ability to conduct additional coaching services that are not listed above. Additional coaching services will be allowed at the discretion of the Contract Purchase Agreement (CPA) SDR.
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active DOE Q Clearance.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with customer project leadership to design Agile at scale implementations. Must include experience designing implementations for either Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), Scrum at Scale (S@S), Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD), or a similar framework.
  • Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
  • Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.
  • Previous experience at DOE sites and facilities.
  • Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.

LOCATION
Albuquerque, New Mexico

This position allows for the possibility for hybrid work. This would include working from home with quarterly travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
