POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Systems Consultant, your primary mission involves serving as the critical technical bridge among Kahua, a third-party service provider, encompassing a broad spectrum of non-Fluor furnished services ranging from engineering/design, site services, to support services. This role demands the strategic operationalization of Kahua within our practices, necessitating a profound understanding of system architecture and the development of optimized workflows. You will spearhead the analysis of complex data sets to proactively unearth trends and drive strategic interventions, ensuring the alignment of Kahua's functionalities with the project team's objectives to solidify a robust partnership.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Forge and nurture pivotal relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a seamless alignment of business objectives with project milestones.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between Kahua and stakeholders, championing the integration of requests and facilitating comprehensive solutions.
  • Master the intricacies of Kahua's product suite, maintaining abreast of the latest advancements and industry benchmarks to enhance system utilization and performance.
  • Direct the formulation and execution of system reports and KPI management strategies to quantitatively assess interface success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Employ standardized methodologies to refine, support, and adapt existing technological solutions, addressing operational challenges with sophisticated problem-solving prowess.
  • Generate and refine comprehensive technical specifications and user requirements to guide the development of complex solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elucidate issue domains, process impacts, and devise holistic solution frameworks that optimize end-to-end system functionality.
  • Provide escalated on-call technical support, ensuring the resolution of end-user issues in alignment with organizational standards and user satisfaction.
  • Execute project tasks and initiatives with precision, adhering to predefined objectives and exceeding performance benchmarks.
  • Leverage advanced analytical tools to scrutinize solution utilization, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective measures to fortify system integrity and user experience.
  • Champion the strategic analysis of solution frameworks, rendering independent recommendations that align with organizational goals and operational mandates.
  • Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is mandatory; Alternatively, possession of 4-7+ years of pertinent experience in lieu of formal education.

  • Proven expertise in mentoring and guiding professional development within technical teams, leveraging best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • A track record of leading successful digital transformation projects, emphasizing process automation, data integration, and digital workflow enhancements to achieve operational excellence.
  • Proficiency in transforming raw data into actionable insights through advanced data manipulation techniques, ensuring data integrity and analytical precision.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of big data technologies, analytics, and emergent industry trends, with an ability to translate these into actionable strategies.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of engaging effectively across teams and with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A results-driven approach, focused on the attainment of project targets and the realization of organizational objectives through strategic technical initiatives.

  • Must be a US Citizen. 
  • Must have working knowledge of Federal (including DOE) and State code applicable to engineering design.

LOCATION
Position will be remote with 0-25% travel involved either to Houston, TX or Greenville, SC. Onboarding would be for 1 week in Houston, TX.

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled consisting of a 4/10 schedule.
