OVERVIEW

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The project controls will be individual contributors to a high-volume of small projects.
The difference between these roles will be levels of experience. 

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Performs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities.
  • Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
  • Supports project organizational and administrative activities, when delegated.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in project management or other related field required
  • Level of position will be based on education and years of experience
QUALIFICATIONS:

Level 2:

Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a  four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level 3:
Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to obtain Q-Clearance or Top-Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge and experience using COBRA as an EV engine and reporting tools such as Empower
  • Earned value management knowledge and experience
  • Self-motivated problem solver with excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and accuracy while supporting interruptions in a dynamic working environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills necessary to communicate with multidisciplinary team members, using negotiation skills to influence
  • Must be to work with sensitive and confidential material with discretion and confidentiality
  • Project Management Professional and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification desired
  • Experience with project management and controls tools to include Primavera P6, Deltek Cobra, and Acumen Fuse/Risk
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel
  • Customer service orientation and a commitment to providing outstanding client service
  • DOE Experience is required
